Will Betelgeuse Supernova Soon?

Hello Twiskies! You know the Betelgeuse star in the Orion constellation? There are quite a few songs that use this star as their title. Betelgeuse is the second brightest star in the Orion constellation after Rigel as the first brightest star. but you know, Twiskies, that recently the Betelgeuse star has been rumored to be dimming. is that a sign of a supernova? so when will this star go supernova?
Supernova are actually a common occurrence in stars, stars that go supernova afterwards can form new stars or black holes. but if we see a supernova event today, it means that the event actually happened several thousand years ago. why is it like that? this is because of the distance of the star in relation to Earth, the light emitted from a supernova takes more time to reach Earth.
On March 14, The America Association of Variable Star Observers, or AAVSO for short, reported that Betelgeuse had begun to dim since January. but actually, Betelgeuse has been dimming since 2019 and that year was the most drastic dimming, some astronomers and researchers call it 'The Great Dimming of Betelgeuse'. So, now the light emitted from this star is much dimmer than in recent years.
So, Twiskies, what made Betelgeuse extremely dimmed in 2019? According to NASA's Hubble Space Telescope data, Betelgeuse created a massive Surface Mass Ejection (SME) after losing a significant portion of its visible surface. This activity has never been observed in a typical star previously. The Great Dimming of Betelgeuse in 2019 was likely caused by a cloud of hot gas emitted by the star, which temporarily covered some of its brightness.
Betelgeuse will explode as type II supernovae, After it used all of the fuel, it will collapse fast and violently. But, Twiskies, have you ever wondered what will the supernova of Betelgeuse caused to earth? You don't have to worry, because the distance of our earth and Betelgeuse is quite far, the distance is about 160 light years. So, the light form Betelgeuse's supernova will reach our earth about 160 years after its explosion, also when Betelgeuse explodes, it will glow as brightly as the half moon for more than three months!
As it say in Earthsky.org "carbon-burning phase for a massive star like Betelgeuse lasts around 1.000 years. If we are 'near the end' of that stage, then Betelgeuse has neared the end of its lifetime and may be about to explode, perhaps even in 'tens of years'." So when will it explode? Some researcher said that Betelgeuse will explode soon because of some reasons.
Woahhh, padahal aku suka dengerin lagu Betelgeuse by Yuuri, tapi baru tau kalo Betelgeuse itu nama bintang :0
