Get to Know More About One of The Most Beautiful Celestial Event, Taurid Meteors Shower!

 Hiii Twiskies Fellow! A few days ago, we have already watch one of the the most beautiful celestial event, Taurid Meteors Shower precisely in 4th-5th November. But have you ever thinks about it? like why is it called 'Taurid' or why is it always happen routinely. Well in this post, I will tell you some facts about the Taurid Meteors Shower, so let's start our journey to get to know more about it, Twiskies!

1. The Origin of 'Taurid' Name

So Twiskies, can you guess why is it called Taurid? It's similar to one of  a famous star constellation, can you guess which constellation is that? If no, then I will explain it just for you, my lovely Twiskies. The 'Taurid' name was originated from its radiant point. The radiant point of Taurid Meteors is in the Taurus Constellation. That's why the name of Taurus and Taurid are similar to each other.

2. Taurid is Called as "Halloween Fireballs"

Twiskies, don't you know Taurid Meteors Shower is also has a unique epithet? Taurid Meteors Shower is called "Halloween Fireballs"! It's because Taurid Meteors Shower is an celestial event that happen annually. It always happen between late October to early November. In that time, the position of Taurus constellation is in the highest. We all know the late of October is the time we celebrate Halloween right? and Taurid Meteors Shower is always happen in that time, so people call it "Halloween Fireballs".

3. Two Streams of Taurid

I have one last funfact about Taurid Meteors Shower for you, Twiskies! You know Taurid is not only has one stream, it has two! It's so interesting isn't it? The first streams called Southern Taurid which associated with Encke comet and the other one is called Northern Taurid which associated with Asteroid 2004 TG. Both of this stream are radiated in the same constellation, Taurus the Bull constellation that not far from the brightest star, Aldebaran.
